I'm not sure about this picture.
I think anything went wrong in this work and I don't know what. I like the technical aspect and the idea of this picture but I am not happy with this result.... What do you think about this picture? Model: Ophelias-Overdose  addition: Ophelia is the cutest person I know. With this costume and make-up she seems cute and creepy/dangerous in the same time to me. This pose is inspired from a lurking cat. Still and fixed at the moment (cute), but in the next second the explodes... Or like catoga  The black and white stripes reminds me on Tim Burtons artworks and that needs striped tentacles The new versoin in my scraps :  Comments Obviously Ophelia looks gorgeous, but I do think that you went a little overboard with the swirls and stuff. Also, on my screen, some have weird lines through, but it could be my pc not loading the page well >_<

 no just kidding... Great black-and-white compisition, anyway   that's funny, i find this piece rather fun really, like something that may appear in tim burton directed film or neil gaiman's story. maybe it's a personal preference thing?

Was mich jedoch am meisten stört, sind eigentlich die Tentakel, auch wenn der Titel des Bildes extra so heißt. sie machen das ganze Bild einfach viel zu unruhig und man weiß nicht, wohin man zuerst sehen sollte.
Meiner Meinung nach hätte es schon gereicht, würden ein paar tentakel aus dem Boden geschossen kommen, wie die in der rechten Bildhälfte (ich mein damit die kleinen 2 und der dritte geht auch noch) Diese sehen einfach total süß und verspielt aus. Genauso wie das Model. die Kügelchen passen hervorragend dazu (eben weil sie auch ruhig am boden verteilt liegen. Gerade am oberen Bildrand hätte ich die Tentakel entfernt um eine gewisse Ruhe zu schaffen. Und Weißraum hat noch nie einem Bild geschadet. Ich würde auch diese Kugelkonstruktion entfernen, die etwas wie ein männliches Geschlechtsteil aussieht *hust*
Ansonsten finde ich die Idee sehr genial, leider ist sie nicht so gut wie sonst umgesetzt worden. Ich hoffe, dein nächstes Foto entspricht wieder mehr deinen hervorragenden Qualitäten als Fotograph.
VISION: Well, there's a lot going on here, and that's a little big of a problem. First thing I see when I look at this piece is all the tentacles, and don't pay much attention to the girl. The only thing that brings her out is her skin color and some of the pipes/circles are a little blurred. Maybe that's the off part in the picture? Other than that, good vision.
ORIGINALITY: I have to say, extremely original. Even though this type of picture has been done before - you made it your own, and that's what I like about it.
TECHNIQUE: It's an interesting technique. I like her costume and make-up and the certain air she has around her. I can't really explain it, but it draws your attention, definitely
IMPACT: Not much that I can say, but definitely five stars!
