Last time I was in the cat-shelter taking cat picture after a little break and met Nischa there. She is a gorgeous cat who luckily found a new owner and in the next few days she´ll move to her new family, hopefully forever

The picture is something very special for me, cause it was such a lovely moment: Normally when I take pictures I introduce myself to the cat. I let her sniff on my hand and my camera to show, that there is nothing the cat has to fear. But here I made my picture directly and you can see in her eyes how hard the situation for the cat is: On the one hand mistrust and on the other hand the yearning for love. She did not know what she should make, coming out of her box or hide in deeper.

After the picture I was petting her and cuddling with her and she really loved it and lost all her fear. So if you ever want to adopt a cat from a shelter make sure not to overwhelm the animals there. Take some time, introduce yourself and then you´ll find the most beautiful creature in the world

(BTW: The image looked perfect on my controll-monitor but VERY dark on my internet-monitor. So now I do not know in which one I should trust ))
