Keep in mind that a cat isn't a toy and do not belong under the christmas tree. Most of those "presents" end up in a shelter

So do a good deed in the new year and adopt a shelter cat for life

awwww! that kitten is like "I love this life. And I love you. Pweeze take me home" i know its way past christmas, but it is still sad that animals get lost or left.

Reading that made me sorta sad, cus its true- a lot of people get animals then just discard of them like they are disposable piles of trash-
I am on of the few who call my animal companions "Family" they aren't even pets in my mind- they are COMPANIONS- I kinda dislike the word "Pet" in a way LOL.

I just adopted a kitten a little over a week ago from the shelter- and WOWZER he's a handful (He's trying to get on my laptop as we speak) but I wouldn't trade him for anything. He's my fluffy little friend, and just the thought of giving a cat/kitten-dog/puppy a false sense of freedom, love, companionship and home is just disgusting to me.

I love this photo by the way- this cat is adorable and I'm glad she found a good new home ^^ This is a great shot, I love it when cats nom on their own paws XD LOL-
