For all of you out there who did not know, I make my photos at a cat-aid organisation together with my girlfriend. All cats there were gorgeous but some were special and you really fell in love with them. That is what happened to my girlfriend Nadine and Minka They really like each other but at the moment of the photo Minka had to go to her new family. It is a splitting moment because you feel so happy for the cat, but there is a little spot of sadness in your heart, cause you´ll miss her....
So I documented the last kiss of them but we know that Minka have a great new life and the picture is a great remembering..

Funny story about that picture:
I was asked by email if a person I did not know could use it for a book. I thought about, talked to Nadine and we decided why not! We told her, that it is OK but just if we get an example of the book Month later, we did not thought about that the postman brought a big, heavy box with the very big book. We sneaked through the huge amount of pages and found the picture with following text :

Jung animals touch and lick the mouth of their parents for achieving food. Many variants were found in social behavior of pets like calming-gestures. A kiss between human beings can be found in all cultures around the world. In western cultures the mouth-mouth touch between human being and pet is incorrectly thought to be a gesture of love between human and pet. Misunderstood gestures could not only lead to accidents it could lead to hygienic risks too AND SHOULD BE AVOID

So my poor girlfriend (the biggest cat-lover on earth) is mentioned as bad example for misunderstood pet-love forever
